How to Take Notes

How do I take notes?

Within each Study Tool, there will be an area for you to take notes if you are logged in. The notes are based on the context of the tool. So if you are in the Concordance, your notes will be associated with the specific verse that you are viewing. Then if you happen to be in the Interlinear Bible, or the Scripture of the Day, and you are reading the same verse, your notes for that verse will be visible. If you are in the Maps and you take a note on a specific map, next time you visit that map you will see your notes again. You can edit your notes and add more to them when you are so inspired.

If you need to find old notes but you don't remember what verse or tool they were associated with, or you just want to browse through all your notes, you can go to the My Notes page in your account. From here you can search your notes by keyword or type and find the specific note you were looking for. You can view your notes from this page and if you want to edit them, simply click the "edit" button to open up an editor. After you are done editing you can hit "Save" and then "Close" and you will be taken back to view the note. If you want to delete the note, you can do so from the editing page.
